Machine wash in cold water on a delicate cycle, using gentle detergents. To sanitize and refresh, use a few drops of tea tree oil or vinegar in the rinse cycle of your washing machine. Hand washing in cold water works, too!

Do not use hot water, harsh detergents, softeners, or bleach when washing your Proof. These agents may compromise the Leak-Loc™ technology in your undies.

Once finished washing, hang or lay flat to dry.  Depending on absorbency level, Proof’s multilayered technology can take between 6-24 hours to dry.  To dry more quickly, blot any excess moisture and hang dry.

Proof undies are a sustainable alternative to traditional period and incontinence products. Say goodbye to single-use plastics for your periods and bladder leaks - Proof has you covered.

Traditional single-use period products like tampons, pads, and panty liners create an enormous amount of waste. On average, a single woman may dispose of 11,000 pads in her lifetime - about 300 pounds of menstrual disposables in total. An estimated 20 billion pads and tampons are tossed into North American landfills each year, and constitute 7% of the world’s landfills. Even organic or biodegradable pads have hidden plastics and non-biodegradable components that can take up to 800 years to decompose. That's pretty trashy.

Single-use period waste doesn’t just end up in landfills. Plastic applicators from tampons often make it to the ocean, where they are ingested by wildlife, wash up on sandy shores, or break down to microplastics, posing a serious threat to ocean life.

Switching to Proof is a little change that makes a big impact. By replacing even a portion of your single-use plastic disposables with reusable Proof undies, you do your part to help Mother Nature thrive.

Together, let’s slow the flow of single-use plastics into landfills and oceans.

Got a question?

We've got answers

Proof undies are equipped with moisture-wicking lining and antimicrobial fibers that inhibit the growth of bacteria and reduce odor. If you want to refresh and sanitize your undies, simply add a few drops of vinegar or tea tree oil to your washing machine during the rinse cycle and complete washing as normal. Voila! – so fresh and so clean.

After washing your Proof, lay flat or hang to dry. Proof can take between 6 and 24 hours to dry, depending on absorbency. Higher absorbency pairs take longer to dry completely. To accelerate the drying process, blot excess moisture from the gusset.

Proof undies feel just like regular undies, and are just as easy to use: just pull them on and go. Our patented Leak-Loc™ technology is comprised of unique layers that wick moisture away from the body and deep into the ultra-absorbent core. Antimicrobial top lining reduces odor and helps you to feel fresh and dry, all day. To learn more about Proof's patented technology, keep reading.
